Bruce M. Evensen
St. Petersburg, Florida, USA

The Course

One of Florida’s most talented and versatile studio owners, Bruce will cover all aspects of digital photography. Students will learn essential lighting ratios and how to use them to create different effects; how to set up and test lights for consistent results; how to control studio lights and create patterns reminiscent of the Old Master painters; and how to “see” natural light. Students will also learn step-by-step, head to toe posing for men, women, children, couples, groups and bridal portraits, as well as the importance of clothing consultations, sales, and promotions to help increase business year-round and minimize lab costs.

Bruce will also share his technique for creating “Baby Parts” --- his Award-Winning compilation book series capturing infants from their tiny fingers to their tiny toes, and everything in between.

Bruce will show why his “Children’s Album Plan”---with over 300 kids enrolled to date--- has been so successful for him and why becoming the “Family Photographer” will bring benefits for years to come.
Bruce’s program will consist of ands-on demonstrations through out the week, of how to successfully photograph families and especially children of all ages. Topics covered will include posing, backgrounds and bringing out the natural, beautiful expression in your subjects.
This class is a must for new photographers and those who need a good shot in the arm. With Bruce’s proven techniques and proper execution, consistent results are guaranteed to keep your clients coming back every year.
